Description: Northwest UAV builds small, specialized engines for specific unmanned systems applications. The Contract Review Consultant will provide full life-cycle contract management to support Northwest UAV. The CRC is responsible for ensuring customer purchase orders comply with Northwest UAV terms and conditions, technical clarifications, and relevant government contracting requirements. They have the responsibility to interface, inform, and negotiate contract prices and terms and conditions with the customer and to manage, facilitate, and communicate with functional departments (e.g., manufacturing operations, engineering, and testing).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and administer contractual documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations and business team objectives prior to signature/acceptance.
  • Thorough understanding of Government contracts to assure compliance with applicable federal regulations and internal policies/procedures within the Department of Defense (DoD), as well as Civilian Agencies, and State/Local entities.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding contract issues, audits and compliance requirements.
  • Generate supporting documents and materials, including Reps and Certs, NDAs, and Bailment/Loan Agreements and coordinate with Legal as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience, and Aptitude:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline with a minimum of 5-10 years of contract/subcontract administration required.
  • CPCM Certification is preferred.
  • Possess a working understanding of government and defense contracting, with expertise in understanding and navigating FAR/DFAR, TINA, and export compliance.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic planning, tactical execution, and exemplary attention to detail in long-term agreements, sourcing agreements, RFP responses, contract clause analysis, and submissions.
  • This role is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Ability to demonstrate an ability to work independently, communicate clearly and succinctly verbally and in writing, develop strong customer relationships, and manage sensitive company data and information.
  • Knowledge and practical job experience with revenue recognition concepts, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Project, and other Microsoft applications.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Safely lift and carry heavy objects with the help of another person if necessary.
  • Ability to work well independently and following strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position throughout the day alternating sitting and standing as necessary.
  • Perform repetitive movement such as pushing, pulling, bending, some twisting and stooping.
  • Perform fine hand manipulation including handling small and large objects.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and be positive, polite, and cooperative with co-workers, managers, customers and vendors.
